David currently holds multiple roles at the University of California Berkeley. At the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology (SCET), David is the Director of Operations and Instructor for the Innovation Collider, a project-based program designed to provide students with access to industry thought leaders as they solve current market and technology challenges. David is also an Instructor and Academic Program Director for Learn2Launch Berkeley, a graduate-level program for international students to explore new venture creation and immersion in Silicon Valley. David has a strong in interest in Social Entrepreneurship and has taught the SCET Social Entrepreneurship Challenge Lab, a semester long course for undergraduate students interested in the social impact of technology.
David is CEO and Co-founder Venture Dojo Private Limited, a web-based suite of content for instructors and students of entrepreneurship and innovation. Venture Dojo moves beyond thought leading content and pedagogy to include assessment tools, instructor guides, games and exercises. Prior to joining CET, David worked for 20 years in the enterprise software sector helping companies rapidly scale their sales organizations. He has held a number of senior leadership positions at Symantec and Wind River Systems, and most recently served as Vice-President of Worldwide Sales Operations at ServiceSource, a cloud-based analytics firm in San Francisco.
An avid traveler, foodie and wine lover, David has been to over 50 countries and has spent several
years living and working in Southeast Asia before settling in San Francisco, California.
